Ceramics picnic

Let’s step out of the everyday and do something different. You don’t need previous experience to take part – just a desire to create and enjoy.

We let the clay guide us. In the workshop, each participant will create their own ceramic freestanding snack tray, which could of course be a jewellery dish or just a set of bowls.

Your work will be glazed by me later, using the glaze tones you choose in advance. You will have the finished object as a keepsake and for everyday use, after about 2 weeks.

In addition to clay therapy, I’ll also be serving our family favourite, French apple cake , and you’ll receive a plate to serve it on as a gift. Just to have a souvenir to take home with you that day.

Free-range chickens and the summer peace of the Lahemaa create the atmosphere.

Locked Doors Tour + Factory Picnic

Lahemaa National Park encompasses several different landscapes – soft moss landscapes, harsh sea landscapes, and sympathetic thought landscapes. But also exciting industrial landscapes, just like the former Kirov fish processing plant in Viinistu.

In contrast to the art museum with its unique painting collection, established in the former cold storage building, an evening exploration tour and factory picnic are offered on this spring’s only Locked Doors Tour (LUT) with open ticket sales! On the LUT, we will look at the story of Viinistu through the eyes of the village, Kirov, Jaan Manitski, and the storyteller themselves.

In addition, we will enjoy a sip of wine and munch on some snacks, and nourish our minds with thematic animation.

Entry to the LUT is €23, payment on site in cash or by bank card. The maximum number of guests on the tour is 25.

The charms of the Kaberla stream – a hike to the heart of nature

If you want to “mute” the city for a while, come on a hike along the Kaberla stream. The trail winds through a beautiful mixed forest, where the stream does its best serpentine ascent and the little waterfalls crackle like natural Spotify.

What’s ahead of you?

– views of the stream’s bends, banks and small rapids
– a nice break by the campfire.

Coils Ceramics

Along the way, you will learn to notice how man and nature can co-exist in harmony. Keep your eyes open – sometimes a local woodland dweller gives you a glimpse, sometimes the forest itself tells a story.

What’s ahead of you?
– a nature hike with a nature guide and stories about the history and folklore of the Kaberla stream
– spotting flora and fauna in nature
– views of the stream’s bends, banks and small rapids
– a nice break by the campfire.

The hike is suitable for families, friends, work teams and also for people with pets.
The hike can be booked in advance.

Food and Drink: On the hike we offer raspberry tea cooked on the campfire. Each participant is kindly asked to bring their own food.
