We live on a limestone coastal land, where the limestone is visible and tangible. Inland, it is covered by a layer, and the limestone is visible as gravel and felt as minerals. Rivers and streams flowing from the limestone areas towards the sea carry minerals into the sea, where marine life also benefits from them. Our groundwater is preserved within carbonate rocks. Thus, all our plants and animals are nourished directly or indirectly by these limestone minerals. Come and try our local food – the flavors of the limestone land!
