Bicycle rent:

Plan your bus trip to Lahemaa on peatus.ee. Choose Loksa as your destination. When you arrive, stop by the information café and grab a rental car. Comfortable men’s and women’s bikes are available, with soft seats that make getting around a pleasure. Take a day trip or a week-long tour.

There are lots of great sights near the information point! For example, the Raketa shipwreck, the Great Stone of St John the Baptist, the Viinistu Art Museum and Hara Harbour. Take a look at our map of the Lahemaa Circuit, which will help you find your way around the largest and oldest national park in Estonia. We’ll lead the way on a theme-by-theme basis on the Kiviring and Mõisaring and offer suggestions for day hikes.

Projects

The project “Creating an integrated tourism management solution for Lahemaa”, which will be implemented in cooperation between the EcoCourier and the Lahemaa Tourism Association between 2021-2023, aims to extend the length of time spent in Lahemaa, to support the promotion of sustainable and alternative modes of transport in the area, and to provide authentic local services. The project will be funded with €200 000 from the European Regional Development Fund.

The Lahemaa Tourism Association, operating under the Visit Lahemaa brand, brings together tourism operators in the Lahemaa tourism area, which includes the municipalities of Haljala and Kuusalu, the town of Loksa, and the municipalities of Kadrina and Tapa, in addition to the municipalities of Haljala and Kuusalu, which share the national park. We invite all those involved in tourism activities in the above-mentioned municipalities to cooperate and share their know-how, and to join the Lahemaa Tourism Association. Our members include private individuals, entrepreneurs and NGOs, and our partners include the Environmental Protection Agency, RMK, the University of Applied Sciences, local authorities, the NGO Development Chamber and other organisations important for Lahemaa tourism.
